What is EFT and how can it help me to overcome any negative emotions?
It is one of a number of accelerated thought and behaviour modification tools we use as part of our program. EFT stands for emotional freedom technique. This simple and fast technique helps relieve emotional symptoms by you tapping your fingers on various acupuncture points. This tapping restores balance to the energy channels of the body. Your energy channels end up out of balance when you either experience an emotionally disturbing event or think about a past emotionally disturbing event. Once balance is restored, your upset disappears. The memory is still there, but the emotional “charge” is gone, and usually forever. Best of all, EFT is easy for you to learn and ideal for helping yourself at home or work. EFT has been used to successfully help treat a wide range of emotional issues such as anxiety, fears, phobias, trauma, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, grief, anger and guilt.
