WHAT IS EFEST DOING TO PROMOTE SUSTAINABILITY?
Efest will be powered by bio-diesel fuel thanks to our partnership with bioDiesel2go. We also partnered with Waste Management to provide recycling and trash bins throughout the site. All of our exhibitors have been engaged to be part of our recycling program. All of the banner signs at Efest are made of recycled material thanks to our partner LexJet. The Efest Information Package was produced as a digital file this year to reduce the use of paper. The Efest Event Guide uses far less paper than traditional magazines because of its portable size. All of our Efest posters and postcards are printed locally with 100 percent post consumer paper. All of our food vendors are local businesses and they will be using biodegradeable products. Our offical water this year, Icelandic Glacial H2O, is carbon-neutral thanks to the efforts of the company based in Iceland. Some of the money raised at Efest this year will be set aside for locally-managed carbon-offsetting programs in cooperation with Saras
