What is EECS and how do the majors vary?
EECS stands for Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. This is the department that grants the degree for Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Computer Science Engineering. The Computer Science degree program began in Fall 2001. The College of Literature, Science and the Arts also has a major in Computer Science.
