What is Educational Talent Search?
Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federally funded program for students ages 12 – 27 years of age. ETS is one of the five TRIO programs that helps prepare students for post secondary education. The program is funded by the United States Department of Education, Student Services Division. ETS was funded at Southern Utah University in 1994. In addition to tutoring, counseling, and academic instruction, this program also provides valuable information pertaining to financial aid, scholarships, federal grants and college applications. The primary goal at Southern Utah University is to motivate our students to enter some kind of post secondary education.
