What is EDR’s experience with similar projects?
EDR began more than 45 years ago as Allen & O’Hara, a company that developed, built, and owned hotels, collegiate housing, and mixed-use facilities. EDR is currently underway with construction of a new 20-story graduate housing facility at Johns Hopkins University with retail space and an adjacent garage. The company has also been selected by The University of Texas System to develop a 16-story facility for staff, graduates and young urban professionals in Austin, Texas. This project includes retail and five stories of parking under the apartments. EDR recently completed the first phase of a three-story project for graduates, and upperclassmen at Syracuse University in New York. EDR is currently discussing a second phase at Syracuse – a mixed-use facility for graduates.
