EDI stands for Electronic Data Interchange. It means the artwork was either created on a computer, or copied onto a disk from a mechanical. When printing more than one color, we need to have the artwork separated and marked with registery marks. Otherwise we have to take the artwork off the disk, separate the colors and print it out … all of which require additional charges.
