What is eco-tourism?
Ecotourism is the practice of promoting sustainable tourism in a culturally and biologically diverse region. We operate our tours on private land with the consent and participation of local families who welcome us onto their land by preparing our delicious lunches, and who share in the profits generated by the tourism on their land. While adventure and fun are a primary focus of our tours, we strive to increase cultural and environmental awareness by introducing our customers to native plant and animal species and sharing historical information and cultural perspectives. Finally, we are committed to the protection of Puerto Ricos natural environment, and with each adventure we run we contribute to the maintenance and care of the land on which we operate.
