What is ECMs relationship with the churches?
ECM’s vision is not limited to one particular group, so we offer our training and resources to churches of many different labels. However, ECM recognizes the need to guard our teaching against influences not in harmony with the teachings of Scripture. We allow all who desire to do so to sit in on our teaching seminars. Many times members of cult groups have been won to Christ as a result. We offer training, resources, encouragement and counsel to local churches. Resulting ministries belong to the local churches and remain fully under their control. We value the church and seek to be a friend and helper to the local churches of Africa. In a few cases, ECM sponsors church planting efforts in villages where there is no Bible-teaching church. After children come to Christ, they need the fellowship, instruction and correction of a local church family! To make church fellowship available, ECM will collaborate with a nearby church to plant churches in unreached villages, or even sponsor churc
