What is eBilling?
Electronic billing notices (or eBills) are monthly emails reminding you it’s time to pay your student loan bill. So, instead of getting a paper bill in the mail every month, we’ll send a convenient email reminder to your inbox. And don’t worry. eBills are safe. We don’t include billing details or personal account information. Just a link that lets you securely sign in to pay your bill online.
EBilling is a new service available to Tarleton State University students thru Texan Bill Pay that will allow you to access your billing statement online rather than waiting for a paper bill. Students will receive an email notification to their University email account notifying them that the eBill is available for viewing. Students may also grant authorized users such as parents/guardians to have access to the bill and also receive email notification as well.
– EBilling is the is the system that allows parents and other third parties to view student SIUE bills online. An e-mail is sent to each enrolled student’s SIUE e-mail address (ending in “siue.ed u”) instructing them to view his/her bill on CougarNet. The student is directed through a link in the e-mail to CougarNet where they can immediately logon and view their latest billing activity. Students can authorize up to five additional e-mail addresses in CougarNet to receive an e-mail notification. The designated third party (for example, spouse, parent, grandparent, outside agency) will receive an e-mail instructing them to register for eBilling. Once registered, the third party will have their own password which allows them to log on to CougarNet and view that student’s bill online. Authorized third parties are able to view only the student’s financial activity. Authorized third parties can also make a payment via the web or by mail.
eBilling is a service that will be provided to all UNLV students beginning with Fall 2008. It is a convenient and reliable alternative to paper bills. You will receive an e-mail notification to your RebelMail account when your eBill is available for viewing. You also have the ability to give access to authorized users to view your bills online. Each person with access to the bill will receive e-mail notification when a new eBill is generated.
