What is Duplicate Finder?
Duplicate Finder is a shareware utility designed to assist users in analyzing duplicate files and increasing the hard disk space by deleting, moving, copying them to the recycle-bin or moving the duplicate files to a folder. Duplicate Finder locates and removes the true duplicate files before they cause havoc to your system. What is Byte to Byte and CRC32 Byte to Byte : Same-name files are suspected to be the same but their contents may be different. Duplicate files are those contents identically the same regardless of file name. File A: 1010101010101 File B: 1010101010101 File A is exactly identical to file B CRC32 : CRC can be considered as a string that represents the contents of a file. So if two files have the same CRC, it means their contents are the same. If this criteria is also included into scanning, you will get only duplicate files in every sense.
