What is DRM, and does Tarnius use it?
DRM stands for “digital rights management” and it is essentially a way for companies to track digitally downloaded music and make it proprietary. In other words, it is a way for companies to force you to use their software with their hardware. We do not use DRM. We believe that once you buy the music it is yours, and you are free to use it however you want. You can use it with your MP3 player, burn it to a CD, or play it on your computer. You bought it, and it’s yours. Independent music applies to the listener too, as far as we are concerned!
