Core capacity at Pioneer Middle School is reported by the Capital Planning and Programming staff to be 1,770 as of September 2009; however, classroom space at Pioneer Middle School is reported to be 1,175 in permanent capacity. With enrollment having been and anticipated to remain over 1,440, Pioneer Middle School is expected to continue to exceed the amount of classroom space the school was designed to accommodate.
