HC: As other populations leave these areas, Latinos are drawn to the unfulfilled jobs in food production, agriculture, and construction in the Midwest; textile and furniture work in Georgia and North Carolina; poultry work in Arkansas; agricultural work in Michigan and Maine and Washington state.
