What is drip irrigation?
Los Angeles County science fair. With the growing concerns for environmental conservatism, I decided to base my science project on an eco-friendly topic. I researched on topics that I wanted to learn about, and I stumbled on to the topic of drip irrigation. I conducted a research using plants watered by a sprinkler system, and other plants by a homemade drip irrigation system. My display was elaborate with artwork, graphs, explanations of the experiment, as well as provisions of the benefits of drip irrigation. My project demonstrated the significant conservation the drip irrigation system provided over a regular home sprinkler system. It was one of the three in the school that advanced to the Los Angeles County science fair. From that period of completing that project until now I have learned more about drip irrigation.
