What is Dragonlance?
Dragonlance is a fantasy setting on the world of Krynn with a cult-like following of fans. Dragonlance features the Knights of Solamnia, the Wizards of High Sorcery, and its individual pantheon of gods. Krynn is a planet that, like Earth, is mostly covered in oceans. The two major landmasses of Krynn are Taladas and Ansalon. Taladas lies in the northern hemisphere, and Ansalon in the southern, to the south and west of Taladas. Other landmasses do exist, but most of the action in the Dragonlance setting takes place on Ansalon. (See also questions 6.4 and 6.5.) Novels, role-playing games, board games, comics, graphic novels, and magazines all feature the Dragonlance world. It is published by Wizards of the Coast and Margaret Weis Productions, and it has the most loyal novel following of all of the campaign settings published by Wizards (including Greyhawk, Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft, Eberron, etc.).
