What is done to ensure the global standardisation of the LAAs?
There is no face to face standardisation. They do not ever meet as a group to discuss or agree to quality standards. Standardisation is provided by TEFL International guidelines and checklists that coincide with both TEFL International course requirements (provided to course participants before course begins) and required by TEFL International head office standards (standards that are acceptable internationally by most TESOL employers). Standardization is maintained through regular reports with the same LAA and correspondence between the LAA and the Moderation Coordinator.
