What is done during the 1st nurse visit at the Perinatal Center?
You will be given an appointment after we have received a transfer of care from your referring doctor. These appointments are scheduled on Wednesday mornings and you are seen by the nurse. During the visit, a history and assessment will be completed. We will want to know what medications you are currently taking and get you started on prenatal vitamins if you are not on any already. We will determine how far into the pregnancy you are and how soon you will need to see Dr. Landwehr. Finally, we will assist you in setting up your next appointment with us.
