What is Doncaster Build and how do I become involved?
Doncaster Build is a borough wide initiative – ‘Local Jobs For Local People’. It is a one stop shop approach which acts as a catalyst for organisations to work in partnership, ensuring that the borough derives maximum benefit from the coordination of new initiatives and developments, funding, facilities and expertise. The aim of Doncaster Build is to assist all residents within the borough to access construction training and employment. The one stop shop has a dedicated hotline, gives the opportunity to engage with priority groups who are furthest from the labour market and who would find it difficult to meet the minimum requirements of trainee selection through the normal construction training application process. For customers who are interested, a Client Enquiry Form is to be completed at the Jobshop and forward by email to Linda.Holmes@doncaster.gov.uk .
