What is ‘~ Donate to Foundation’?
Northwest Federal Credit Union has a long history of giving back to its members and the communities we serve. In 2004, NWFCU’s Board of Directors authorized the creation of the Northwest Federal Credit Union Foundation. The NWFCU Foundation has a separate Board comprised of appointed volunteers responsible for the Foundation’s oversight and fiscal responsibility of the charitable programs endorsed by NWFCU. The NWFCU Foundation offers NWFCU employees and its members the opportunity to participate in and/or donate to the Credit Union’s various philanthropic activities. Donations to NWFCU Foundation are tax deductible to the extent permissible by law for those who itemize deductions. As a result of comments by our members to make it easier to donate to the NWFCU Foundation, the option of donating through NWLink was implemented.
