Although Mongolia’s transportation infrastructure is generally quite limited, we will do our best to make your journey as comfortable as possible. Travel from Ulaanbaatar to Erdenet and to Xarxorin, as indicated in the tour itinerary, will mainly be on paved roads; in addition, you may travel to Sainshand by train and to Xövsgöl by plane. On most tours you can expect to spend at least two days of off-road travel in 4×4 vehicles in the countryside.
