What is Divine Intervention all about?
Divine Intervention can either work FOR you or AGAINST you. The Gods are more likely to come down in your favour when you are attacking a kingdom at least 2x your size, and more likely to come down in favour of your enemy if you are attacking a kingdom half your size. Some Hero Items and Monuments also increase the chances of the Gods deciding in your favour. Q: All the land I win is free acres, why is that? Aren’t people developing their land? A: In ROTI, all land you win in battle will be free land (regardless of what buildings your enemy may have constructed on it before you took it). If there were any buildings on the land you captured, the value received from the destruction of those buildings will be added to your gold (above the value of the gold you won as reported in the message). Q: What’s the largest kingdom I can attack? A: At the moment, you can attack a kingdom up to 2.5x your own size. This now applies to all kingdoms, regardless of size, but this may be revisited later.
