What is disrepute?
When you are bidding on a ship in the Dynaverse and you change the value of your ship(which is being used as collateral in the purchase) to be less than the original amount used for collateral you will accrue “Disrepute”. To make your ship worth less during a bidding cycle is easy to do. All you have to do is sell off your shields or weapons in the refit screen and accept. To get rid of or “Pay-off” the disrepute you have accrued, you will need to play missions and you will receive 50% of the prestige you would normally get, the other 50% will go to the disrepute you have gained.
