No, you don’t have to drop out of school, but you will need to speak with a Counselor and submit a petition to the Academic Council to be reinstated. Dismissal results when you have been on probation for 3 semesters or more. It is crucial to speak with a Counselor and develop a plan for succeeding in your courses. We know you want to do well and we will do all we can to help you with a clear and effective plan. If you have a solid educational plan and can explain how you will be able to make good progress in the coming semester, the Academic Council is likely to approve your petition to register for classes.
