What is Discoverys policy regarding shipping?
If a specific carrier is not requested we will usually ship via the most practical carrier per our judgement. All shipments are F.O.B. DISCOVERY PLANT, at point of shipping. Once a shipment has been accepted by a common carrier and we have obtained a signed receipt, our responsibility ends. All claims for damages should be made at the carrier’s agent at destination. We will be glad to help trace all missing items. Make sure all cartons are in good condition before signing for them. In many cases smaller shipments are sent by Post, in which case we will insure against loss.
