What is directory enhancement?
Directory enhancement is: (a) writing effective, keyword-rich descriptions, and (b) selecting the most appropriate directory categories so that your site appears at the top of search queries for your targeted keywords and keyword phrases. The 3 major directories are Yahoo, Open Directory, and LookSmart (now a pay-per-click directory).
