Digitizing is the process of converting artwork into a stitch file that can be read by an embroidery machine and interpreted as different stitch types. While the shape and colour of a bitmap image appears smooth from a distance, when viewed up close you can see the tiny individual squares and dots (pixels) that make up the image. Digitizing is the process converting the customer’s artwork or digital picture into a stich based format that a Embroidery machine can read. Q 4: Do you charge to digitize my custom logo? A: Yes, A one time non-refundable set up fee of $59.99 dollars will be charged to digitize your logo into a special sewing machine file. A sew-off sample will be created and sent to you in approximately one week for your approval or suggested changes. We want your logo to be perfect! Once the final version of the logo embroidery has been approved by you, it will be assigned a number and remain in our files for future orders. Remember that once the logo has been approved it cannot be changed. Q 5: Are digitizing charges applied to every order? A: No. Once your digitized is on file with us, or if you supply us with an embroidery-ready design file on disk, there is no degitizing charge.
