What is digital service?
Pioneer Cellular provides CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) as the digital technology. CDMA is a feature rich technology providing benefits such as polyphonic ring tones and the new wireless data services. Digital service allows several advantages over conventional analog service including longer battery life, enhanced voice privacy and many more features. Some of the extra features that are available today are: 1) SMS (Short Messaging Service) allows subscribers to send and receive text messages via their cellular phone. Messages are held in queue until the phone is turned on or a necessary digital signal is received. 2) Caller ID – Allows subscribers to know who is calling before the call is answered. This feature is perfect for those who wish to screen their calls. 3) Message Waiting indicator lets you know that a message has been left either in your voice mailbox or via the SMS.
