What is diffrence between cost accountant & chartered accountant?

0

Primarily, a Cost Accountant estimates/ascertains the cost of a product/service at the various stages of its production. He assists the mangement in controlling the cost. A Chartered Accountant’s primary job is to Audit the accounts i.e., to see that they have been correctly prepared to show the correct financial state of affairs that they have been prepared in accordance with the requirements of the law or not. The scope for Chartered Accountants is wider than that of the Cost Accountants.
