The only difference between HETs in SFB and SFC is you are allowed more “free” HETs in SFC for game play reasons. C6.5 Breakdowns A breakdown occurs when a ship fails its “success” roll for a HET, Emergency Deceleration, or other extreme manuevers. If your ship breaks down you can basically consider the battle over. The effects of a breakdown are a seriously damaged ship, lots of dead crewman, and the possibility of tumbling. Tumbling is where you lose control of the ship and it travels around the map in random directions for a little while.
