What is different about chip card use?
• When you use a chip card to make an in-store purchase, you’ll notice a number of differences compared to a magnetic stripe card: • At retailers with chip terminals: Your card is inserted into the chip terminal until the transaction is complete. Simply enter your Personal Identification Number (PIN) when prompted. • At retailers without chip-terminals: Your chip card is swiped and you sign a receipt as you normally would.
