-I would like to believe everyone who has gotten this far has an idea of what teriyaki is. 😉 The only difference between the two is the sauces. Teriyaki is more on the sweet side where BBQ is hoisen based smoky BBQ sauce we make here at our restaurant. It is glazed on the chicken during the cooking process to bring out intense flavor of the sauce and may I say; once you go BBQ you can’t go back to teriyaki!
