What is difference between Batch Oven and Continuous Ovens?
Ans. Batch ovens are those ovens that are used for containing discrete quantity of material per processing operation. The processing in these ovens take place in three phases. Warming to temperature, soaking at temperature, cooling to ambient temperature. Using same physical space each phase is conducted in sequence. Continuous Ovens are designed to process multiple batches in sequence without interruption. A continuous oven may provide for uninterrupted materials flow through several phases depending upon the materials to be processed. The process includes warming to temperature, soaking at one or more different temperatures and cooling to ambient temperature.
