What is difference between astronomer and astrophysicist?
Astronomers are usually those who wish to found out about the positions of the stars, what characteristics does a start have or some other natural phenomenon in the sky. Astrophysicists attempt to explain the things that occur. For examples, an astronomer would find out that the stars are accelerating aways from each other, and an astrophysicist would explain that this phenomenon is due to the expansion of the universe, where the empty space itself is increasing in size.
