What is difference b/w similarity congruency of triangles?
Congruent triangles are exactly the same. They have the same corresponding side lengths and angle measures. There are absolutely no differences between them. The symbol is the = with the ~ on top. Similar triangles have the same corresponding angle measurements, but their corresponding sides are only proportional. For example, let’s say a small triangle was similar to a larger triangle. A side of the small triangle is 2 and the corresponding side on the bigger triangle is 4. This means that the bigger triangle is 2 times bigger than the smaller one (2 * 2 = 4). So since they are similar, all of the sides of the bigger triangle will be 2 times larger than the corresponding sides of the smaller triangle. The symbol for similarity is ~. congruent is the same size and same shape but watch out if the shape is sideways but still the same size and shape its still congruent!simular is where its the same shape just not the same size but always watch for those sideway shapes…………………
