Dialogue Normalization adjusts the audio to a predetermined replay loudness level. Dialogue Normalization aids in level matching between program content and media types, such as DVD, DTV, DBS, et cetera. Setting the Dialogue Normalization parameter is crucial to the proper operation of Dolby Digital decoders.
