What is Diablo II?
Diablo is called an ‘action RPG’ by many people because it contains elements of both types of genre. Diablo has an isometric view (a top down view that is tilted about 20 degrees) similar to X-COM UFO Defense or Simcity 2000. It is very easy to learn how to play and is quite addictive. This is the sequel to the 1996 game of the year, Diablo. The game is tailored much more towards the hardcore gamer, and there are a lot of new features that make it different from the original. This review is for Diablo II and the expansion pack up to v1.09. What does this game do well? This game is one of my all time favorites. Diablo II, like its predecessor, is a lootwhore’s dream with countless items and gold pieces to collect and all sorts of monsters to kill. It is very easy to learn and very addictive.
