What is DHLs approach to corporate citizenship?
A. DHL’s approach to corporate citizenship is guided by the Framework for Action as defined by the World Economic Forum’s Global Corporate Citizenship Initiative. As a result of this work, we defined three work streams: People, Communities and Environment. In order to decide what actions we need to take within these three areas, and follow them through to implementation, we first of all construct a corporate citizenship agenda that highlights the key areas that need to be addressed. From this agenda, we define, develop and implement the required activities and projects to make progress to meet our corporate citizenship goals. With regard to our community investment work, our preference is to work in partnership with other organizations. Each of us using our core competences means that we can achieve more than if we worked alone.
