What is destroying the rainforests how is global warming damaging it?

Well for one, i believe the ethanol theory just doesn’t work. Second, it is hurting the ozone layer because trees take in a lot of CO2. And the more trees that are cut down, the more CO2 released, which isn’t good. And to throw this at ya, the ozone layer protects us from the most dangerous rays of the sun. As the ozone layer depletes, the more rays come in, the hotter it gets, which can be too hot sometimes. We can still fix this problem. Its just that some people are just to blind to see or just doesn’t want to do it, because they don’t believe in global warming.

It is not global warming it is farmers trying to get in on the ethanol program. Same thing is also happening in Indonesia. Ethanol production is wrecking the economy and the environment without doing any good st all.
