What Is Demerit Of Ring Network Topology?
In the ring topology, all the nodes are linked to each other. The information sending works through the tokens which pass through the terminals attached to the computer network. The topology is used by wide variety of organizations but the potential disadvantage associated with the ring topology is that if one terminal stops working or if a defect occurs in a terminal, the whole network is affected. The whole network is affected by the defect or collapse of one terminal which stops the working and disrupts the information sharing of the terminal connected in the topology.
