What is Defensive Driving School?
An 8 hour class certified by the State of Tennessee to Reduce Points on your driving record and to help you become a Safer Driver. Defensive driving techniques encompass more details than standard driving methods. When you use defensive driving techniques, you reduce your risk for accidents, and can usually avoid the mistakes of other drivers. The state of Tennessee has created a special Driver Improvement section of the Department of Safety to offer improvement programs to drivers, including defensive driving techniques. This department oversees the driving records for all licensed drivers in the state.
