Unlike Pro or Enthusiast, which allows you to view the sky from anywhere on Earth or the solar system, Deep Space Explorer explores the realm of galaxies outside of our own Milky Way galaxy. It deals more with large-scale structures of the universe and cosmology. Starry Night Deep Space Explorer is no longer available. Note: All version 6 products contain the Deep Space Explorer database, allowing you to leave the confines of the Milkyway and explore 28, 000 galaxies plotted in 3D.
