Deep app linking is a method in which a uri (uniform resource identifier) is passed to an app. A good example would be a link to a fb profile, or page (formatted as: fb://profile/profileID) it’s passed to an App (Such as the Facebook app), and instead of just launching it, it launches at the requested point/page.
