0

Debtor’s school is a class which you must attend in order to get your plan approved by the Court. At the class, you will be instructed by representatives of the trustee’s office regarding basic principles of budgeting, financial planning, and practical points for successfully completing your Chapter 13 plan. Debtor’s School lasts one day (8:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.). The Debtor’s School is normally held on a Tuesday (in Fort Worth) or on a Thursday (in Dallas) 30 – 50 days after the case is filed.
