What is Debix?
The Ohio State University has researched available options, and has selected Debix to provide Identity Protection service at no cost to students affected by this unfortunate incident. Students wishing to take advantage of this opportunity must sign up within 90 days of September 7th, 2007. The university chose Debix because unlike traditional credit monitoring services, which only notify you when credit has been opened in your name, Debix will call subscribers when a creditor is trying to open a new account.
