This product is used to treat mouth and gum disease such as canker sores and pyorrhea. How To Use Debacterol This product should be used only under the direct supervision of a dentist or physician. Debacterol is for external use only. For canker sores, a blunt needle, cotton-tipped swab or probe is used to apply the product for 1-3 minutes. Treatment is followed by a rinse with neutralizing solution of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) one-half teaspoonful in 4 ounces (120 ml) of water. For pyorrhea, the product is applied with a glass syringe and blunt needle to affected ulcers, pockets and gum margins.
