What is Davis Hoops?
Davis Hoops Basketball Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of competitive youth basketball for both boys and girls in Davis and surrounding areas. This past year the club had fourteen teams including boys and girls teams. At the core of each team are the club principles of Respect, Integrity and Pride. Players from the 5th grade to 8th grade are invited to join a team after completing competitive tryouts. Teams may enter league play and/or participate in weekend tournaments. All Davis Hoops coaches are required to complete the Davis Hoops Basketball Club Coaching Licensure Course. Coaches are encouraged to attend coaching seminars and skill development clinics as well. Once a year, Davis Hoops holds the Annual Plant Sale Fundraiser. This event allows the club to offer scholarships to players who would otherwise be unable to participate.
