WHAT IS DANCING WITH GRACE?
Dancing with Grace is a dance program designed for those children and teens with special needs. This class is designed to cater to the wide and varying needs of many children. It is in no way intended for a particular stream of students, but rahter, an opportunity for all children; both boys and girls, to engage in movement through fun, enjoyment and encouragement. The class will be tailored to suit the individual needs of the students, and will be facilitated by both qualified dance teachers and under direction of a Special Education teacher. A thorough evaluation of students’ needs will take place at registration day. From this information, the class program will be developed and reviewed regularly to insure that all students receive fair and equitable access to the class. Sensitivity and confidentiality will be maintained by all teachers at all times. The following conditions will apply to students participating in our new unique needs class.
