Cymer has adequate capcity to meet current market demand. Additionally, the company has increased its manufacturing efficiency and flexibility in order to deal effectively rapid changes in market demand. Cymer’s San Diego manufacturing facility is easily reconfigurable, and can be expanded or contracted as necessary. The manufacturing staff in San Diego and Korea can also be sized quickly to meet demand. The company is currently quoting lead times of two to three months or less for its DUV light source products, and is working to shorten lead times even more, to further enhance its ability to respond quickly to changes in the market.
