Council is planning to develop a ‘community hub’ that will provide not only community facilities and services for the local community as well as a range of activities and opportunities that foster neighbourhood identity and encourage community interaction. The emphasis will be on ‘place making’ rather then ‘facility provision”. The community ‘hub’ will have six function areas.
