I100 Introduction to Stability Operations is a parallel seminar conducted during the Advanced Operational Warfighting Course (AOWC) that provides the theoretical and doctrinal foundations for Stability Operations and two of its key components— Counterinsurgency (direct and indirect) and Defense Support to Civil Authorities (DSCA). The course was jointly developed by the Department of Military History and the Department of Joint and Multinational Operations.
